Decoding Your Health with Dr. Brigitte Rossi Interview
I (Dr. B) was recently interviewed by a Magazine and it got me thinking that I’ve likely not shared my answers with all of you and grateful for that experience, it has now prompted me to share our story with you all.
Why did Dr. Aaron become a Chiropractor?
My parents were chiropractors so I was already familiar with it, but it was when i was 12 years old, we as a family went to large national conference on chiropractic. It might seem normal that a 12 year old would be bored at such an event but I was electrified. The people speaking weren’t droning on about procedures and minutiae, they were talking about the spirit and the power of the human body. The inborn wisdom and capabilities of human beings. And story after story of people getting well. Extraordinary and miraculous stories of people getting their health and their life back. And my parents both spoke at the event. In front of 100’s of people. I was inspired then, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
Why motivated Dr. Brigitte to pursue Chiropractic?
Originally what motivated me to become a chiropractor was the gift I wanted to be able to give to my future children by being a doctor/chiropractor. I grew up with a father who was a chiropractor, along with many uncles, cousins, and even a great aunt. It was the greatest gift in my life. Anytime I had a health concern, didn’t feel well, got injured, or had any health/body questions, I could get immediate care and attention. I wanted to offer this to my children as well. As I went through Chiropractic school and learned more about how the body functions as a whole, the body-mind-spirit connection as well as the science, art and philosophy of the chiropractic adjustment, my vision grew to helping other families in my community to also benefit from the great impact that Chiropractic offers by reconnecting the physical body with the spiritual and emotional beings that we are.
Growing up as I did, always looking for the root cause of my symptoms, I looked to chiropractic, nutrition and lifestyle and I love that I get to bring that to you online and at Rossi Chiropractic Center.
What do we bring to the table?
You may already be a raving fan of ours, or maybe not, and one thing we pride ourselves on is that everything we do at Rossi Chiropractic is highly personalized. We know our people, because we listen to them and are ongoingly looking to learn more everyday.. Getting chiropractic care is great, regardless of who, but we at RCC hold an intention every time to stay focused and deliberate. Specifically, to be conscious of how the person in front of us is unique. You have a unique history, interests and problems from everyone else. The focus and intention we bring naturally brings out good care. It might sound over simple but any work that becomes repetitive brings in a slippery slope of becoming automatic, and not staying fully conscious of our work.
The other aspect that sets us apart is our understanding of the dynamic beings that we are and how our emotions, nutrition, and lifestyle can affect our body’s health and wellbeing. We not only address the physical aspect, but bring awareness to the original underlying cause of the problem, whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual, and have amazing practitioners in our practice to support the release of these energies/blocks/patterns if the person needs extra support as well.
It’s important during the initial examination process to start identifying the underlying cause of your issues and develop a customized plan that works for you and your health goals. Figuring out exactly how, where and how often someone will need chiropractic adjustments to support and resolve any physical problems is part of what we do. It’s important and often straightforward. What’s equally as important but much lesser known, is connecting with people on a personal level. People too often feel ignored or not really heard. We look to have you feel meaningfully validated just by being heard and want to make sure people have that experience with us.. With it, it’s easier to track peoples improvement too.
Why would people come see us?
The most typical problems people come in with are body aches and pains. These can be concentrated to the back and neck, but can be all over. Almost as often, people will come in for some neurological or organ problems. Headaches, anxiety, poor sleep, poor concentration, digestive problems, heart problems, breathing problems, fertility problems to list a few.
Why people come for these problems and how chiropractic helps is the same answer… it’s just how humans are created. The brain is connected to the body by all the nerves, the majority of which thread through the spine, your back and neck. The nerves are like the power lines and the internet connection all in one, proving power and data between the brain and body. The spine holds us up, lets us move but it’s also protecting the spinal cord nerves. But because the spine is made of moveable pieces, they can move wrong or be stuck out of position. This can disrupt the power and data through the nerves. That disruption can in turn cause any of the above problems, plus any number of other things. Ensuring there is proper communication and energy flow from above, down, inside and out of the body allows you to function at your best and heal at your best.
What is our adjusting style?
Did you know there are over 200 different chiropractic techniques to analyze and adjust the spine!? We use anywhere from 5 to 20 different techniques a day and we base the choices on how to adjust someone to include how soft or firm this person needs the adjustment, what they’re comfortable with, how many or how few adjustments that person needs today to make a positive effect, even what sort of leverage or approach works best with this person.
We also look to teach and empower you on your health by showing how to manage your posture, movement and thinking to help see greater improvements and healing.
What if the root cause of my issue can’t be addressed with a chiropractic adjustment?
More recently, we have incorporated The Emotion Code, as well as the Body Code System, as taught by Dr. Bradley Nelson, (hereinafter called “these methods”), and as practiced by Dr. Brigitte Rossi, CBCP, we seek to identify and eliminate other underlying imbalances by releasing energetic imbalances in the areas of energy, circuitry, pathogens, structure, toxicity, and nutrition. These methods of energy healing promote harmony and balance within, relieving stress and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal. Energy healing such as these methods is widely recognized as a valuable and effective complement to conventional health and medical care. If we observe that someone is stuck in particular patterns of imbalance, needs extra lifestyle support, or went through past emotional traumas that we suspect are hindering their ability to improve or heal, we will recommend a body code session. It’s vital that we integrate our emotional, spiritual, and mental beings to what’s happening to our physical selves to gain more momentum, growth, healing, and change.
